I've been playing blades or tour preferred type irons all my life, at 70 I decided to switch to a more forgiving and lite steel shaft. I should have done it years ago, my handicap has been increasing from a 7 to 12 over 5 years. I just received a set of these and they are so smooth and easy hitting, I know with a little putting my handicap will come down hopefully to single digit again. I do like to work the ball at times nothing to it, hook, slice, straight, low and high this club does it all. I really wanted the forged EZ's but I read the auction wrong and you know I'm glad I did. Right out of the box they hit the first bag of ball solid, I may get the lie adjusted but only after a few rounds of competition. The feel is great even with range ball clunkers , I can't wait to hit ProV's they will feel like butter. I got the XP95 shaft in regular flex it's a high launch, but if you play it back a little you can control the it. I have played Mizuno's before the MX and MP models, but it's the shaft I guess, these hit so easy.Read full review

Im no expert but I am picky as hell when it comes to equipment. After getting fitted and doing a ton of research on shafts I can finally say Ive found the right clubs for me. Only downside is the 4 iron but that may just be me not liking the 4 irons in general. I would skip getting this club if you decide to buy individually.
