The Nest outdoor IQ surpassed my expectation with regard to picture quality and its ability to move to an image, center the image and then zoom into it. Without pixelization. The only reservation I have is the WiFi and the power...seems like it needs a better antenna for the radio...and an optional POE Model would suit more options. The Nest cloud storage and notifications are a major strong point. Great product. I forgot to mention the speaker. It’s like a video intercom.

Works great, built very well and easy to install once a suitable location has been found. Trickiest part is ensuring a location with good WiFi reception. Don't be quick with this step, take your time and have someone hold the camera in place while you check the video. Once installed it works flawlessly and I would suggest purchasing one of the three Nest Aware accounts that provides extended recording and a number of other features that make the camera more flexible. That said, it works quit well without the extra expense. We installed it on a side of the house with no windows just to have an eye on an area that we had been unable to see. Overall worth the money spent.

I replaced my Nest Dropcam with these IQ outdoor cams. The difference is huge. The Nest IQ Outdoor are easy to install (30 minutes per camera), the facial recognition tech is really cool, the microphone is so much better than the last, and the resolution is improved as well. Great update Nest!
