This has a nice clean sound. The transmitter should have an ON light along with the low battery. Receiver appears to be 2 channel but there is no indication of what the 2nd channel might be. Overall a great unit for the price.

I have been a DJ for over 35 years. My Shure wireless mic died after an amazing 23 years and thousands of shows. I decided to give this Nady a try. It sounded pretty good so I thought I got a good mic for a good price. very quickly the screw-on base that holds the battery compartment started cracking and disintegrating and the rubber-like coating on the mic started pealing and flaking off. I have used the mic exactly 11 times over the last 6 months and when I hooked it up this weekend there was so much static and distortion that it was unusable. Gave it to a friend who does electronic repair on sound equipment and his diagnosis was "this is just junk. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did" So, considering what I paid for it, I basically rented a mic for around $8 per show and now I have a paperweight. Pretty much sums it up.Read full review

I run a Karoke/DJ company. I was a little worried on the quality for the price. Let me tell you, if you are in the Biz, you have to get one of these! Out of the box, with both gains cranked up was too much. I had to turn it down (Those in the biz knows that is rare). You can announce and sing with this mic. If I HAD to come up with something wrong with this item, I will say about the Mic Muffs. You may have to change them between talking and singing, otherwise you will hear the breath sounds between. The only other thing I would be negative on would be would I got a "Pop" when I go from Standby to On.

For the price I think it's a Fantastic unit, the headset Mic. is very well made & has a good sound for such a small Microphone. The Receiver has great range & the Beltpack is easy to work & adjust to your preference. Like anything you get what you pay for but,All n all compared to some of the other wireless units around the same price I think you get More for the money with the Nady UHF-4 I've had it for a few months now & have realy enjoyed it.
The clip kept popping off my guitar strap so I super glued it in and added a Velcro strap. Similarly the receiver unit is velcrowed to my amp to keep it from walking off. Unit works great though.
