Love it because it's a Nokia! The easiest operating system, Bar None! Great reception and a long battery life. I use the calender, the music player, the radio, the alarm clock, the stop watch all the time. If you travel the "Flight mode" setting is fantastic! Buy a data cable and use the Nokia software to use Outlook and simplify your life. Did I mention the bluetooth was ridiculously easy to connect? Sure the screen is a tad smaller than some other phones. And I've heard complaints from others about the camera, it's a phone not a camera! If you are looking for a dependable, affordable, easy to use phone that does not have so many things to figure out this is the phone for you!
This is a solid Nokia phone. It is built like a tank, and does the basic things well. Pros: Comfortable Nokia user interface. I've used Nokias for years, and this operates just like it should. Great audio for voice calls. Outstanding battery life. Bluetooth is seamless. Predictive text works well. Small form factor -- fits in your pocket and stays there. Cons: Displays are outdated, for 2011. Mini display is pretty dim and goes dark fast. Main display is pretty lo-res. Bottom line: This is a solid basic phone. I'm keeping it as a backup, because I know it'll work forever no matter what.
I searched Ebay for older flip phones because I needed one for a friend. The Nokia 6085 is sturdy and easy to use for an electronically challenged person.I have owned 3 previous Nokia phones (still keep one for an emergency backup) and knew that he and his wife (I bought 2) would like it. The camera function was one of the primary reasons for this one because they sell show chickens. The resolution is perfect for their postings and can be easily emailed directly from the phone. With the micro sd card slot giving it a large picture storage, we haven't found a down side to this little phone. I personally have had other brands of folding phones and they don't seem to hold up to more than a year of opening and closing before quiting.
I bought this Nokia 6085 Flip Phone for my husband. He had one identical to it but accidentally got it wet and messed it up. He has really enjoyed having his flip phone back. He especially enoys having a camera on his phone. I don't know why AT&T doesn't offer these model phones anymore, they are good phones. The battery lasts a long time and the size of the phone is excellent for putting in a pocket. I highly recommend the Nokia 6085 model phone.
This is a basic unit that is easy to use and even has a camera. It is small and can be stored in a pocket or purse. I use one at my place of employment so I purchase the same type in case I damaged my company cell all I would have to do is change the simm card. It is my insurance.
