This Commadore crossbow is marvelous. The co2 addition actually dispels ALL the BAD things you have ever heard about Crossbows. I tried to cock this bow by hand & even though I am pretty strong I could NOT manage it by HAND. The CO2 cocks the bow quietly and with ease. I just finished sighting in the bow using it's 'Illuminated' scope. I practiced for a while using field tips. After I was pretty sure I had the scope sighted in I tried ONE broadhead. It hit the bullseye on my target so hard that I could not retrieve the broadhead. Can't wait to get a BIG buck on my scope !!!
when i first purchased it i had a problem with the trigger and called parker and they sent me a new one with no questions asked. this crossbow is a great product made by a company that really backs up their products and warranties. i also had a few questions about the bow and they were easy to reach and they answered them , really professional people working for a professional company, a pleasure to do business with. dan
Love this crossbow. Pulled it out of the box, shot 6 arrows and was zeroed in at 10, 20 and 30 yards. After another six with minor tweaks had a nice tight group, cut the fletching and broke a nock. This bow shoots fast, accurate and does the job. I know it is not the fastest bow out there but it shoots well and the price is right. The package deal with 12 arrows, 3X32 illuminated scope with the cocking rope can't be beat at any retail store. Love the crossbow and love the price.
Please note this review is for the Parker Bushwacker, not the Tornado. I am over 55 and crossbows are legal for deer this year in my state at age 55 and older. This is my first experience with any crossbow and I couldn't be happier. I was concerned about even being able to cock the thing but it is fairly easy to cock by hand and very easy with the rope cocker that I bought. I have been practicing at ranges from 10 to 35 yards and the crossbow is very accurate. I am really looking forward to deer season.
Bow hunted for over 30 years, right shoulder surgery then left shoulder replacement surgery,I thought I would try a crossbow, Knew Parkers reputation for high quality bows so I thought I would try one, bought a Bushwacker and glad I did! a very accurate and lightweight crossbow, easy to cock even for me with their red hot roller rope cocker.
