I bought this Uniden phone to replace an older model. I read reviews and it was recommended. I can see why. Phone has nice clarity and range. No interferance. Many features I like, none I dislike. It came w/o a manual but it was easy to find on-line. Much better phone than my earlier Uniden waterproof phone. I think it is safe to 15 feet. Holds a charge a long time too. Good choice for me.
It is a wonderful phone with great clarity. I use it on the back porch and hear calls even when the wind is blowing and dogs are barking. I use to have a Sears shop phone and it was terrible so I shopped around and found this one. I don't have to worry about the humidity and rain. I have the base unit in the house and the extension on the back porch and the arrangement is perfect.
I vought this phone because it sounded like a good one to use outsidewhen necessary. I was shoveling snow and it fell off my jacket. I shook the snow off and it was just fine. It works very well. it's easy to spot because it's bright yellow. when it rings, the volume could be a little louder, but, that is the only negative thing I have about this phone. It's a great phone for my purposes. I bought one for my son and he liked his, so, I bought one for me and I like it as well.
I bought this because we have a pool and I was tired of getting out of the pool and running to catch the phone!! I plugged this phone outside and can take the handset by the pool's edge. If it falls in the phone won't be ruined which is great. The sound quality is as good as my other cordless phones too. I would definitely recommend this phone for outside use.
Worth every penny! We feel confident having it outside in our lanai that we won't miss a call! Plus....the battery holds it's charge better than the phones we have in the house. This is a MUST phone for those who need a phone outside whether you have a pool or work outside a lot! This phone is the BOMB!
