    OEM product from TomTom.

    Without this special charger you will not get traffic info to display, you will have all other features with just a straight power cord. In addition, Tomtom made the connector proprietary so even though the connector is standard, the average power cord will not fit without shaving the plastic surrounding the metal connector end.

    Cable works with no issues

    The original cable that came with my 1535TM became damaged which meant I lost the traffic alerts. I was overjoyed to find that I was able to purchase this replacement cable and continue to use and extend the life of my TomTom (as opposed to ending up in a landfill). The cable appeared to be in mint condition so hopefully I'll be able to continue using my TomTom for many more years

    cable

    I had looked for a cable that would receive road conditions and they were 60 plus and had a free first year and a fee afterwards i do not know what the fees are and plus tom tom indicates free traffic on the unit i have i could not find anything about how it works i found out by alot of research and just bought this because of its value and when i plugged it in i got road conditions which are cool because you can choice an alternate route.
