Although Terri and Brannon have come to their own, it seems there is no escaping their unfortunate pasts. While Terri still carries the weight of growing up disillusioned by her mother, neglected by her philandering father, and traumatized by being molested by her uncle, Brannon continues to carry the guilt of keeping mum as his father turns into a man with a warped view on how to treat women including his wife. The family members choose to live with their suffering instead of dealing with it, until they are forced to resolve it on their patriarchs fateful birthday. Soon after they are brought under one roof, all of their issues with themselves and each other finally break out from the confines of their souls and result in an argument that will decide their fate as a family. Once the dust settles, will their issues finally be cleared up or will it tear them apart completely.
