I was not expecting much for $80 but I have been surprised. Very simple to put together and the saw looked brand new but for a small scratch on the bar. Starts on the 3rd pull. I have cut down 2 12" trees and cut them up for the burn pile with no problems at all. I highly recommend this saw for a home owner that needs to cut a few things up. Also the seller is awesome and was very helpful with a few questions I had.

My brother bought one of these about (3) years ago and barely used it before he left for a (2) year stay in Ireland. He left the almost new saw with me so I used it around the yard a few times and began experiencing a big issue with the chain coming off a lot during use. Its a process getting it back on and tightened properly and a hassle when it flies off again moments after using it again. Had to take out (4) small trees around the property (none bigger than 8" around) and I ended up having to use a hand saw and hand axe to finish the last tree because the chain came off again and got snagged up and twisted off the shaft that spins the chain. The saw instantly became an expensive paperweight. Since I figured my brother might one day want his chainsaw back I bought an exact duplicate off ebay that was "refurbished" and cost only $75.00. I gave it a try when it arrived and it started up and worked fine and although I only used it for a half hour or so the chain managed to stay on. If you only use it for light stuff around the yard you will most likely be alright with it. Anything heavier I'd suggest another brand of chainsaw.Read full review

Great little saw shipped to me in 2 days the shipping was ridiculously fast can't beat it for the price. Mine did not want to stay running as well right out of the box. I turned the low idle screw 1/4 turn clockwise and it runs like a dream. Great saw for the money! Couldn't be happier. The saw looked brand new appearance wise, the blade looked decent and cut good other than being wore from sharpening. I would recommend this saw to anyone. It paid for itself in the first 5 minutes of use.

You might get lucky like a lot of people who get this, but you may end up like me, with one that needs some TLC. It's obviously been cleaned and rebuilt but for whatever reason mine was full of black gunk that needed to be cleared from the spark plug and cylinder. Also it pretty much failed to idle but was an easy fix thanks you YouTube. If you're somewhat handy with small engines this is an excellent deal considering it's over half original price and free shipping.

This saw has had problems as hundreds of them are available refurbished. Sometimes they do not get refurbished correctly. It is very difficult and complicated to get it to start, it floods easily and just won't start without you pulling and pulling the starter rope. Everytime I get it started I had to try multiple different scenarios. My hand is worn out. It runs very rough and does not perform that well once you get it started. I purchased a Husqvarna 450 (Made in USA) and it is wonderful. Don't "cheap out" buy a new Husqvarna, Stihl or Echo and you won't regret it.
