I have been using the pantech phone for years... The verdict is still out with this phone... The main problem is that i use bluetooth ear piece and also with vehicles... This phone will not stay connected with either... So seeing if their is something I can do? Also seems like the battery goes down quicker than last phone... but i also seem to be using it more...

I bought two of these and they had minor problems right away and after a week or so the screens started to peel off the phone and the phone just failed from there.

I bought this used for a novice smartphone user. I read reviews and learned the phone has an easy mode that helps with this. This would be a 5 star phone except for the battery life. I thought since the phone was used maybe the battery was bad, so I bought a brand new one and made sure it was properly charged. Even with all extra stuff like Bluetooth, WI-fi, and data turned off, the battery level drops much faster than any other smartphone I've used (I measured 17% in about 2 hours just letting it sit with no use). The extended life oversize battery costs $90, almost as much as I paid for the phone. I'm looking for a firmware update or something to address the issue. The screen size and display are good. Reception and call quality are on par with other phones.
I made a major jump to my first smart phone from a Motorola Tudra. After doing LOTS of research and comparing features, quality and prices, this led the pack for bang for your buck. I really can't see carying around a $500 to $600 phone! I am enjoying the phone and it is living up to my expectations. The phone has a nice feel and it will run all the aps I have wanted it to so far. It does not feel cheap. I did put a pretty rugged protector on it; something nessasary for the way I live. I live in an area with spotty reception and it does ok, but can't equal the Tundra for that. But I haven't found anything that does. The screen is difficult to see in sunshine, as other reviews had also indicated. Overall, I am very happy with all the phone offers for a very low price.
I had this phone before but I traded it for a Samsung S3 international edition. I didn't like the S3 that much because it didn't have 4G LTE. It was a 4G phone but not with LTE. I noticed that my mom's Pantech Discover was faster and surfed the web faster than the S3. This phone is excellent! It has all the features one would need without all the useless fancy features S3 has that I never use. Plus they have an easy mode for people who are newbies to smart phones. There's also that S Beam feature but they call it NFC. I sold my S3 and bought this phone and got back an extra $100. This phone is a great value. A must try if you are in the market for smart phone and don't want to pay the Hugh price tag or don't care if it isn't the newest latest phone. Pantech Discover rivals those new fancy phones.Read full review
