Where to start? This is the best fighting video game of its era! I can't remember where I was when presidents were elected, when natural disasters happened, nor when my own birthdays came, but I remember where I was when I first played this game. I remember going to the store, the store, the ride home just looking at the box, the day of the week it was, and the room and tv I first played it in/on. This game along with Mortal Kombat 2 sucked me into video gaming. The gameplay, character controls, the special moves the characters could do, and the show stopping capabilities of the FATALITIES, oh the FATALITIES, made this game and series one of the best. This particular game added the use of the six-button controller, detail such as flying paper in an empty street, the run feature, and more playable characters for the choosing. The only thing this game lacked was more fatalities! You can't get enough of them in this game! This game continued to include you in the story with the background of the characters and how they tie into the Mortal Kombat story. A great game to own and play.Read full review
