This item has surprisingly good dc accuracy. I want to know what is draining my truck battery. I tested it with an oscilloscope however, I shall make an adapter to plug in a multimeter. It has two current ranges. 1mV per 10mA or 1mV for every 100mA. You have to do arithmetic so, it is a tad less convenient than some cheaper meters that do not connect to scopes. About 99 percent of clamp meters only measure ac current. Many clamp meters read dc Volts, ac Volts and resistance but, ONLY ac current. Check the fine print.

I used this item before writing this review. It works perfectly. I used it with test lights of known amperage, and this clamp was spot on. It has a very fast response time. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I found it easy to use and accurate enough. Only complaint is it would be easier to use if output were 1mV per Amp. As it is you have to move the decimal in your head to read it. Small thing, but annoying.

this does waveforms correctly and is very user friendly this is almost identical to a expensive name tool like snap on or pico scope and sets up the same way and best of all it works with lots of different software packages and because its so economical its by far the best value for your money if your looking for a new amp clamp

I am very happy with this current probe that works equally well with a scope or a digital multimeter. This clamp meter works as good as much more expensive ones.
