This book explains software patterns in a very clear and concise manner that anyone can understand, with the proper background of course. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a career in the software arena. I originally borrowed it from a coworker to read and then decided I had to have it in my personal collection. I still believe that the original pattern book by the Gang of Four is the best technical reference, but this is the best written in "plain language" for the rest of us.
Very good intro to design patterns. Easy to understand and follow. Covers many design patterns, written in Java. Would have liked to see some more in-depth examples, although the 'small' examples show how easy the patterns are to implement.
