Had to replace my aging Breville when its seals started to go. On eBay I paid about 1/4 list for this one, so the price was right, but it's real 'plastic-y' and the reservoir, while a good size, doesn't sit square and has to be nudged in order to close the lid. I think all this makes it a little buzzier in operation than my previous machines. Other than that, it works well and makes a cup quick. The filter seems slightly flared so, along with the clip that secures it, it's easy to empty and clean. It locks into place well with a distinct stop so you know when it's properly set (a pet peeve with the Breville). It didn't come with bonus cups, saucers or steaming carafe like some other brands do, but so far, it works well and makes a good cup fast. Despite seeming a little flimsier and taking up a little more counter space than others, I'm satisfied so far. That would be quite different if I'd paid the $150 list price.Read full review
This is my first time owning this type of machine and i am definitely satisfied. My boyfriends uncle has one and always made us great espressos and cappuccinos, which prompted me to get one of my own. I've had it for a few days now and i'm loving it and its still working great and i haven't had any problems. As long as you read the directions everything should go smoothly and you'll have yourself a great hot shot of espresso :)
This machine is wonderful...I am very glad to have found it. Don't think twice, the coffee is great and the maker is easy to use.
I love the coffees this machine makes but it leaks after every cup you make and I am constantely cleaning the counter. Another thing is that after only having it a month, the coffee comes out so slowly that we can go watch TV while we are waiting for the coffee to make.
