I bought this for a Mossberg 500 Roadblocker well aware that fitment may not be perfect because the big muzzle break on the barrel. It's 18.5 in barrel and I had to use the rear holes because of the muzzle break. The only issue I ran into was I needed to trim a little material (1/16 in or so)off the portion of the barrel that attaches to the magazine tube. This was done inorder to move the barrel mount far enough forward to line up the holes on the rail system. I also had to remove the barrel, slide the rail system on and reinstall the barrel. This was because the muzzle break was too large for the rail to slide on. Overall it'll take some work if you own a Mossberg with a barrel break, but the end result is well worth it. Now I have a one of a kind gun.

The crosstie bolt down by the trigger area it was only threaded on one end. Extremely poor quality control. At the muzzle I had to modify my weapon in order to make it fit again very poor directions and very poor quality.

I have had these set ups on my two 500s since they came out with them. They are built well and are on the stout side BUT it also decreases recoil with full on Bshot and slugs. Tactical rounds feel almost like squib loads. Knowing that though, there are no real issues I have found except when installing take your time to make sure the connections at the end of ghe barrel are well lined up as I did have one screw that for whatever reason always wanted to start in on an angle. It just took some patience to make sure it went in correctly. Everything else is a piece of cake install. There are PLENTY of places to mount everything under the sun. With mine, on my 18” I have a very open red dot out of the way of any type of loading and a laser and light on opposite sides of the barrel on the front small side pic rails and a single laser/light combo on the 20”. It also has a larger open red dot so both eyes stay open easily. The great thing with this rail system is you can still sight down the original bead sight! It does not look look it but geez, I have shot trap using the bead with these for fun. Now, I like my switches mounted so a natural rest easily turns them on and your fingers/hands will not die in a short time BUT you will not light up accidentally either. I have carried a shotgun both semi and pump for nearly 30 years and can attest to their use. As always, the name of the game is training and finding what works for you. As you can also see, on the shorty I have a bandoleer sling turned with the rounds to the INSIDE, labelled (Bshot, slug plus training with the set up) pulled up pretty tight just so it will not interfere with slide or loading manipulations. It works WELL for this set up. Again, heavy but it gets lighter very quickly!!! Again, I have had these rail systems on here for quite a while now and they will be staying. I really like them. It looks great, a real badass! But every time you have to clean it - you have to remove the entire quad and it's a lot of time spent. Also, if you have any side cartridge slots, you'll need longer screws and some extra time to remove it and reinstall it after cleaning the gun. Get it only if you don't shoot a lot and allow extra time to disassemble the gun for cleaning.

Good buy, got my flashlight off my flex adapted forend and further up where it belongs. You have to remove the factory heat shield from a factory mossberg persuader, but it’s very simple. Folding stock will still work with minor modification to stock. Also I’m very happy I can still see my factory bead through the bottom of it perfectly. Extremely light for what it is. Very happy
