This Era is a decent headset...however the Jawbone Icon HD is a far superior one. It is small in size...connects easily and has decent sound...however you must turn the volume up almost double when listening to music compared to the Icon HD and the sound quality is definitely not as good..also the battery life is a lot shorter. The noise cancelling is good as with every Jawbone I have owned!

Audio makes caller's voice sound muddled -on both ends of the line. For $145.00, you would think you'd get better audio quality. Its workable so I continue to use it. However, if you're in the market for a great bluetooth headset, I suggest you go with a different brand and higher price point. You get what you pay for.

I was a skeptic about Bluetooth headsets seeing them as extension of the business crowd of mover's and shaker's hanging out at Starbuck’s…The ones that liked to be seen and not merely heard. After purchasing my first set, my opinion went largely unchanged. Now, I have finally gotten used to sticking something in my ear except a Q-tip, so I will move on to the acknowledged standard of decency; the Jawbone Era. This Bluetooth does not impress me that much more than some others did quite frankly. I found the quality of the sound on the receiving end to be somewhat muffled and very difficult to distinguish more often than not. I also ruffled some papers while talking on the phone with a friend and he immediately though that I was wrestling with alligators somewhere. This occurred while the Noise Assassin 3.0 was shut off. That said, the Jawbone ERA is definitely clearer than most sets, but the volume is also poor and if you wish to alter the volume from the default automatic setting, you must then opt out of the feature which has distinguished Jawbone, the Noise Assassin 3.0. With the standard ear buds I am confounded how to find any comfortable position with any of them. I am going to experiment with other brands of buds. I have been told that the headset works much better with Jabra ear gels and that they seem to increase the listening volume, as well. Time will tell since I ordered some for replacement of the standard Jawbone ERA ear buds. However, the comfort of anything which is stuck into the human ear seems to be impossibility.Read full review
I really love this Jawbone Era. It syncs well with my work phone and personal cell phone and I am able to make and receive calls from both units through my Jawbone without any problems. I absolutely love the tap motion sensor too. It reconnects to my cell phones easily when I go out of range and return without having to do much of anything. I can also hear very well in any type of setting that I am in. I went skating the other night and the person on the other end heard me very well while I was skating at the roller rink. Just for those two reasons above, it was money well spent. The pouch could be a lot easier to use. So most times I don't even use it. I wish the talk time would or could be much better and longer. Maybe it is just me, but I talk more than 5 hours. So, I do find that I have to keep it fully charge and it loses it before my day is done.Read full review
I’ve always like the jawbone. It’s like my fourth and fifth one. I’m a truck driver and I use it all the time on the road. Too bad jawbone stop making good earpiece like these..
