This is the third book in the series which is the reason I had purchased it. Each segment is stronger than the last in my humble opinion. I appreciated how the heroine is struggling against her past and trying to protect a brother with mental disabilities and how the hero must discover that he possesses heroic traits. This book must be read as the last as it answers several questions from the first two and reveals more about the vampire's struggle than the others. I also liked how the vampires were finally acting like vampires. Even our hero struggles a bit about not taking a nip out of his lady's neck. This would be a light historical romance/fantasy as it does not go in for strong language or sex.
Don't usually like the regency romances but add in a vampire & I'm in. 2nd of hers that I have & both great. Will be looking for others.
