John, for the last 17 years has been villified, ostrasized, and, at times, doted on by the media. It's refreshing when someone that has been through so many extremes can put on paper their own mindset of what really took place. He didn't sugar coat anything and didn't place a whole lot of blame on everyone else around him. As he says. "It is what it is".
For golf lovers and John Daly lovers - a MUST read. He is candid about everything in his life to this point as it relates to his career, his life & his ex-wives. The only thing he does not mention, rightfully so, is his cheldren. This is so entertaining that it is a quick read & that's the only downside!
If you like biographies and you like John Daly than you'll love them even more after reading this book. Big John tells it like it is. While reading this book you'll feel like it's John talking to you; bad grammer and all. I loved it; it allows the reader to look into his life and learn some of the lessons he has, and to think about some we all might need to learn.
This Book is a good read. It talks about Johns life good and bad. He explains the sand traps that life has to offer as they relate to him. It goes quick,a quick read. Enjoy
An easy to read book, but a little simplistic and repetitive. I wish there had been more stories about the PGA tour and Daly's interaction with other players.
