I have been using these as an inexpensive, effective replacement for a "dentist's night guard" which prevents you from grinding your teeth. My dentist told me I needed one in 1978 and said he would be glad to make one for me for $600. Having played intermural football and soccer at college, and having used a mouth guard like this, I adapted one for night use, for then.... $5.00. Just trim some of the excess that extends high up on the teeth and gum with an Xacto knife or clean utility knife, and voila! Probably saved $3-4,000 on guards over the past 40 years for me and my wife. I occasionally forget and put it through the washer (OK) and dryier (not so OK) and need to make a new one. Always have a few spares in the drawer.

It was fast shipping and I love it. It fit alot easier than any other mouth guard I had.

It's low density so does not last long but easier on the gums and soft tissues inside the mouth, does not scratch

Easy to use but only moderately comfortable. Low price make it an acceptable alternative to many other mouth guards.
