I've used a Motorola I290 for years, but I wound up hurting the key pad when I put something else in my pocket.... I replaced it with a Motorola I335 because I like the slim design of the phone and I hate folders and qwertys.... I've used this phone for a few months now and it is a tough as they come!!! If you get a little windshield silicone and don't mind going through a charge matt and Blue Tooth, you can make this thing completely submersible!!! Plus it even recieved a military certification for durability and reliability!!! I've been able to get allmost everything I could want from www.MyTinyPhone.com, keep in mind this is not a Smart Phone.... Plus, I've got the stuff I use every day like voice recording, Event Scheduling, Photos, Tetris, GPS, and Auto Re-Boost!!! I'd recommend this phone to anyone who isn't looking for a Droid-X or an I-Phone!!! I'd also recommend a good bluetooth headset like a Blue Ant Z9....Read full review

these are about the best phone that Motorola makes that i have used so far. i had one that i bought long ago from radio shake when i got boost ..i didn't use the phone because i upgraded to a Motorola flip phone(BAD IDEA) they kept crapping out on me screens stopped working u name it i had it.so i got rid of boost and a year later my boss says he will pay for me a boost because of the direct connect i have to supply phone so i dug up my old i335 that had been chewed and threw in a box put my sim in the battery in it powered right up after sitting for a 1 year ...a lot of people complain that they don't have auto keypad lock and they do..go to the menu and security and keypad lock it will have auto lock off change it to 30 sec..like i said i love mine it a real tough phone and it feels good looks very modern to me i just wished it had a camera and oddly it don't have a calculator that's just weird..but all in all good phoneRead full review
I havew been using this Motorola i335 on the Boost mobile system for about three weeks. It works as NEW. Nextel Walkie-Talkie feature also flawless. Great when used on Boost $50.00 unlimited EVERYTHING plan.
I like the bluetooth feature the i290 does not have that. It looks better than the i290 and is better made. Very rugged look and longer battery life. I would like it even more if it had a camera.
