I've been using the Motorola W315 for one week, as a replacement for a Motorola V120. For my purposes, the Motorola W315 has all the features that I need. Obviously, someone who needs a fancier phone with a camera, bluetooth, an internet browser, etc. would not be happy with this model. I personally don't care about the stylishness, but my teenage daughters tell me that the W315 is much more acceptable than the V120 was in terms of design. Reception (using the Verizon Wireless system) in my area is quite good. Sound clarity is fine. Battery life is not so good -- I need to recharge the battery every other day. I have the ringer volume set to the maximum, and it's still not nearly as loud as my Motorola V120 was when set to the minimum volume -- something to consider if you work in a noisy environment. Accessing menu options is much faster than the Motorola V120 was. (I have animation turned off). The thing I like least about the phone is that the main display turns off after 30 seconds, and then you can't see anything until you press a key. The secondary display remains visible all the time when the flip remains closed; however, if the phone rings while the flip is closed, there is no obvious way to ignore the incoming call and send the caller to voicemail.Read full review
My main problem with this phone is that its description includes that it has an internet browser, however this is not true. There is no internet or Get It Now feature. Also the battery life is very poor...I have to charge it every day, and even when it's been fully charged, a 20 minute conversation and the phone is beeping at me for a low battery. The only good thing is the charger connection is the same as my GPS, so I can use my GPS car charger for the phone. Another reviewer mentioned that it isn't very loud even at the highest volume. Mine, however is VERY loud, which is good especially for the alarm feature.
I needed a red phone... MUST HAVE RED for my grandma, she is old school and will only use a flip phone so this one fit the bill!! it was a great price and she's using it happily so I'm a happy camper as well. Thank you!

This phone calls people, sends text messages (though the input process is slightly different than some other phones), and does all other basic cell-phone functions (alarm clock, calculator, etc.). It also has a speakerphone. There is no camera, and the ringtones and interface are pretty basic. Overall, a good phone if you're just expecting basic features.
