Motorola has probably sold tens of millions of these phones. They are everywhere you look. Slim, compact and dependable are good ways to describe it. The keypad has never failed me and the display is nice and bright. Menus are easy to manuver through and has good features to make it overall versatile. Calander alert alarms and daily alarm reminders are great for important and daily reminders. The camera takes a decent photo for a phone. Battery lasts me an average of 2 days between charges with normal use. And now the one recurring problem....This is physically the third RAZR I had to get. The external speakers (that handles the ring tone, alarm and speaker phone duties) keep fading to the point that I cannot hear them unless it is dead quiet. My cell provider carried the warranty replacement for one and I had buy one used for my next replacement to avoid the full replacement cost. My first replacement was at 3 months and the second one lasted me a year and a half before fading. When I depend on hearing the alarm every day, it becomes an important feature to have working. Most people replace thier phones at the time of contract renewal so this phone overal has come near it's full lifespan fairly well.Read full review
PRO: This phone has a sleek metal exterior that fits great in my purse. I like that I can make ringtones with my Motorola Phone Tool, put them on the phone and with the P2K you can get free online, you can set them to ringtones. It has a long lasting battery that lasts for at least a year, the batteries are very inexpensive on eBay (about $5.00 including P&H). With my Motorola Phone tool I can exchange pictures, music and videos with my computer as well as back up my contacts. This phone also has a big internal screen I can see easily. It gets a good signal when other phones don't. CON: The numbers are flat, and you can not blindly dial on this phone by feeling where the numbers are. The metal exterior can give you a static shock in the right conditions and it dangerous to talk on this phone while it's plugged in the an outlet. The camera is not great, but just okay. This is not a phone you need to carry in your pocket, it is damaged easily by water or sweat and has a glass outer screen cover that can break and is hard to replace. The thing that goes wrong in these phones first is the interior screen. There is a ribbon cable that fixes the screen to the body of the phone and opening and closing this clam shell phone wears that little ribbon cable out. WHY DID I PURCHASE THE PHONE? I buy and sell these phones more than any other phone because they are inexpensive USED, I can make my own ringtones for them, I can use it with the Motorola Phone Tool and it gets a decent signal when other phones don't. Despite all the cons, this is still my favorite phone.Read full review
Like the size of the phone. Dislike ear piece quality. I bough the phone for work as a replacement because i broke my other one. Its serving its purpose I suppose. I probably wouldn't use it as my personal line, but for all intensive purpose the phones great!
Incredible stand by time. Works with virtually every pay as you go service that uses "Verizon" network. Good talk time. Clear easy to use and a real bargain.
Works as advertised. no problems with it once activated. Bluetooth is there as well as texting. The charger is functional using a standard ac 110V outlet. Battery life is normal for any of that type of phone. The color red is just find making it easier to find in among other phones,
