My long search for a perfect phone for my needs brought me to a 3 year old phone (at that time). I think this phone is the best example, how Motorola proved it's name in delivering best phones for geeks and everyone else. Best it's HW description is - it supports Android 6! Oh my God! Even not all "flagman" from other vendors released 1 year ago, support it... or any other updates to Android 5... oh well. But what is the second selling point of this phone? It has a PHYSICAL QWERTY keyboard! Woohoo! I like to feel when I pressed a button. More or less,in the current market we do not have any other competitor to this phone! Good job Motorola! GOOD JOB!

God I love this phone, if I was a millionaire I would buy one of these for all my friends. I love the voice to text will also work without an internet connection, but to do a web search "ok google" requires a internet connection. I actually use the voice texting a lot, and like it, but when you don't want others to know your business you still need a keyboard, and having a keyboard means you can see more screen than without the keyboard which is better. It takes nice pictures, and video, it's speedy, not glitchy. It has enough internal memory to store all the apps I have wanted, which by the way my last phone ran out of internal memory space. I haven't found an app I wanted that I couldn't get yet, because the android version is new enough. The call quality is better than all my old phones, and the battery charge lasts a long time, so I have never had to worry about running out of battery at work, or on the way home. I have been very careful not to drop my phone, so I have no idea of how durable it would be if you did, and I wasn't going to waste my money buying one for my daughter to find out whether it was durable enough.Read full review
My favorite phone. It has a slide out keyboard which makes writing texts and use of the internet very easy. A shame Motorola does no longer make this model or any model with a slide out keyboard. I had to buy this phone on eBay as my original Sprint phone broke within weeks of purchase. I I had to send it in to Motorola for repair. They couldn't repair it and send a Moto X as replacement. A good deal but I need my keyboard. Phone also has a slot for a European Sim Card. I used my other Photon ( the original one without the keyboard) in many European countries with their Sim Cards and it worked like a charm. Haven't tested this model in Europe, yet. Picture and video quality is very good. I took many concert videos and sound is great. Battery life is good as well. Touchscreen responds very well. So far this is the best phone I ever had on Sprint Service. As my first phone broke beyond repair within a few weeks I cannot tell if this is a sturdy device.Read full review
Very good phone if you want a qwerty keyboard! Perfect for texting, emailing, etc. Battery lasts about 10 hours on moderate usage. Call quality could be a little better, but phone works great on wifi- just waiting for Sprint to expand LTE to use it's full speed.
I bought this phone and found its screen glass is so bad. Scratches appear very fast. The screen of mine was slightly broken and I ordered a new digitizer, and this new digitizer (not original) is much much much better than the original screen. The phone is great, bright screen, resolution is not so high so performance is good, the bootloader can be unlocked by official motorola site, BUT. It has just 3.7Gb of internal storage. So to play games you will need directory bind application. Batery does not live long also. It takes about 2-3 hours to discharge while playing games
