I could be wrong here, but the word around town is these haven't been manufactured in a while. Most outlets take advantage of this and exploit the buyers wants by charging two and three times the $699 manufacturer's suggested retail price. You might find it online for a figure that is closer to reality but good luck. Most listings are outdated. The item will be listed new and in stock but when you go to purchase it they'll promptly cancel the order. Such was the case for this writer on more than one occasion. The one I was finally able to buy was listed as one of the last 2 or 3 but as soon as I bought it several more became available from the same seller for $50 more. Do you see what's going on? The upshot is you end up with a boutique class of signal processing that is hand built and analog all the way. You'll just have to pay through the nose for it unless you somehow get lucky.Read full review
