my current earbuds are the best i've ever had, they are the Sony MDR-XB90EX($90), which have been called as good as you can get for the money, and i've have had other high end earbuds as well, and these Monster earbuds($12 just scored a new set) are easily the best that i've ever heard for the price. i think they are 16mm drivers, same at the XB90's, just fyi, amazing low end, great separation of mids & highs, etc, again, amazing for the money. i use my Monsters for active use, and the Sony's for casual use.

I am not tech savvy so it's been a struggle for me as there are no instructions included. I wanted to know if there was a volume control and had to go online to find out and find out how to use it. I followed online instructions but volume control doesn't work for me. I could be doing something wrong although it's a matter of pressing a button Everything else is great...comfortable, lightweight. Just wish I could figure them out.

Good other than no volume control. I guess I didn't do my research well enough. I've got a pair of monster earbuds very similar to these, with volume control. They look almost identical, but my older pair has a volume control as well as the play/pause button these have. Would probably have bought a different set if I knew this, but I messed up. The volume control is useful for me because I walk near streets with variable amounts of noise, so I like to be able to easily adjust volume.

Nothing but treble no mid range and no bass. Earbuds aren't comfortable at all. Definitely not worth the money!
