I can't put into words how excited I am to have this cook book in my possession. I collect cook books, but I get them from thrift shops, yard sales, etc. I don't just go out and buy new ones because that would be just too expensive for me. However, had I known this book was on the market in 1997 I surely would have bought it at the asking price. I already own three of Mollie's cook books: "Moosewood Cookbook" (which is the only one I actually purchased new); "The Enchanted Broccoli Forest" and "Still Life with Menu Cookbook." Although I dearly love both of those cookbooks, they pale in comparison with this one. This cookbook is so interesting, I could sit for hours and just read all the commentaries about the recipes along with all the helpful hints, tid-bits and how-to's that accompany each recipe. Also, she has included a special section on Roasting Vegetables. Mollie has such a way with writing instructions for recipes that you actually feel that she is right there with you in the kitchen helping you prepare each dish. The ingredients and instructions are so precise and clear that anybody could pick this recipe book up and cook every dish in it with no problems whatsoever. Suffice it to say that this is one of my all time favorite cookbooks. I am truly delighted that I made this eBay purchase.Read full review
