This book, written by Oliver North and Joe Musser is so exciting that once you pick it up you'll never be able to put it down. I read the entire 605 pages in 4 days. Peter Newman, the main character, is a Marine who is assigned to work at the White House as the leader of an undercover group called the ISEG (International Sanction Enforcement Group). While on a mission to Iraq, plans are foiled and the entire mission is compromised. Newman is being tracked down and barely escapes many times. Side story is about Newman's wife who wants to get a divorce, becomes a Christian, as does Peter after a Christian saves his life. The interesting part about this book is a device called a EL-3. It codes and uncodes any type of message (fax, phone, email, ect.) The book ends when some of the main characters get killed, apparently. So if you buy this book, be sure to get the next book, Jerico Sanction.Read full review
Great storyline, a super job of weaving a storyline around real world events. Great twist ending.

Like Oliver North books very much----book was in excellent condition. Like authors who will profess their beliefs and include God in their writings. Just plain down to earth good reading.
First book in a trilogy featuring Newman, a marine officer. Oliver North definately has the knowledge to write on this topic. I found it to be a real page turner, and while it is fiction, it is very believable.
North's experiences and knowledge of Marines, combat, and politics all come together in this book. He is a great story teller. I've read two other books by him and they were also great reads.
