Don't listen to anyone that tells you this is a pro's only iron. I came up from cavity back beginner clubs and read so many good things about this club from amateurs to non-amateurs I bought a set on a whim. As for reviews I read online, most commonly you hear the non-amateurs say this club is not for amateurs. And yet, the amateurs say couldn't wait to get back on the course again; improved swings, lower scores, peaked interest in golf, etc. I attribute this irony to the fact that non-amateurs, those that play frequently probably get very used to non-forged club to the point they probably take a little more adjustment than the amateur. As for me I fit into the club of immediately improved game play and enjoy playing the irons more than I ever have before. I am an amateur, but I always believed I suffered from the hand me down clubs that must be 30 years old. Before, I've had new sets, and played rather well at times, and I never knew if I was playing forged or cavity back irons' but I can say this, these have transformed my game, and I highly recommend them. For other amateurs, I would say, if you feel you are better than your score, you might benefit from a change in tools. Buy the RAZR X forged, give em a month, no like? Sell em on ebay...I lost 5 times trying to get a set. I think the word is out on the street..Read full review

Callaway clubs have always been my choice and I was not disappointed with the RAZR X 3-iron I purchased. Easy bent, great appearance and quality components made this iron a great choice for me.
Very easy to hit. Lots of forgivness for this players club. you will be able to controll ball flight and shape the ball to your liking.
