I would never have called my Bosch 1617 less than excellent, but the difference in routing with full panel bits is amazing! Nothing slows this router, and if your cut isn't perfect, it is not the router's fault. I bought this router because everyone said I needed 3HP or more. The milwaukee came up as the top router over all the woodworking forums and all the 'best tool' catagories. I have it mounted in a table saw and tested it on hickory; not a single slow-down.

you will want to be absolutely sure it will fit your router lift. The 5625-20 will not work on your Kreg Router Lift without some modification. You will need to remove the Milwaukee height adjuster. The Milwaukee height adjuster is not designed to be removed. Since I have a Ridgid Combo Router for free hand use and never plan to remove the Milwaukee router from my Kreg table I had no problem sawing the adjuster off. the
