    Good value, well packed, 25 watts of light in the microwave to see what's cooking

    I purchased this twin pack to replace the dead bulb in my Panasonic NN-ST479S BPQ microwave, the two pack 25 Watt specified for a NN-ST478S model, but apart from the right angle rather than straight connecting tags it looked identical and was better value than for the original single bulb with straight tags for my specific model. The bulbs were well packed in an expanded polystyrene holder within a cardboard box for delivery. The 5 case screws undone and the old bulb gently angled and removed - its a close fit through the hole, the new bulb was eased in and the metal tags gently bent back to hold the plastic base of the bulb in place. I judiciously splayed the bulb tags away from each other a tiny amount and refitted the connectors to the bulb tags - but you may not need to do this and ...

    Easy ordering which is just as well because this is the 4th one I’ve had to change in 3 years. I can’t tell if it’s poor bulbs or poor microwave oven design. Anyway, it’s an easy enough procedure to replace them, so I guess I’ll just keep ordering Builds rather than change the Morphy Richards microwave.

    See what's cookin'.

    Wow - It lights up when the microwave is switched on. The product works fine and I can now see what I'm having for my dinner after doing without for years. However, it was a pain to replace and involved removing the outer casing and fiddling with wires inside - thanks Daewoo.
