I really don't like microsoft products. They tend to vaporize and lose support to quickly. For my use a basic word processor is all that is required. Most of the add-ons just get in the way. This product does work and does the same things that Office 97 did without the large files the older product created but it is much larger and is not as responsive. All told If I wasn't in a field where I needed to read newer windows files I wouldn't upgrade at all. They are a bit like the government telling you that you must buy a "new and improved" car, (manufactured by the government) every 3 years. I am now trying Open office and really like it. It is free!
Upgraded from MS Office Home and Student 2007 to MS Office Professional 2007. I had Access 2003 installed on my Laptop and I wanted to use Access 2003 with Images, but was having some issues, now with New version Professional 2007 its so easy to add Pictures/Images to each record. I am satisfied. Originally at the time of loading the new version had problems with "stdole32.tlb" error but with the company's step by step guidance and prompt support all issues were resolved.

Although it is not he latest vrsion it worked perfectly on my new Windows 7 machine. It has all the components, wordprocessind, spreadsheet, data base, email front end, etc. Previously, I had been using Office 97, and I have had no difficulty transferring to the new product.
