Product is OK for a Microsoft product but the sides are made from a material that gets sticky with age. Not worth the money if bought new but on the second hand market, if bought below 60% of retail price, it's OK. There are better Mice out there at cheaper prices. It depends on which Microsoft Windows software one is running.

Package was sealed, new, the rubberized grip was getting old and soft, so I just rubbed it off with a clean cloth with rubbing alcohol, worked well.
