These extension tubes fixed my problem with using Lomo objective lens on a vintage Zeiss microscope. The Lomo lens were about 13mm too short and the extension tubes fixed the problem. I do think that the extension tubes were priced way too high, but I didn't find any that were cheaper.

The internal thread size is NOT the standard RMS. It is a bit smaller. My RMS objective would only thread 1 or 2 turns into this adapter. That was enough to use it, but that made the overall length a bit too long because of that. At least the external thread size was correct and threaded into the microscope nose piece correctly.

Aluminium so fairly soft but does the job well enough. Complies with the RMS specification so not a large reserve of material to trim away and difficult to cut a lead in without the equipment and skills needed to make one in the first place! But as I said accurate and well finished - just don't rely on customising it afterwards. Good company to deal with too.

The threads on the tube I received were a little rough and sharply-cut, and initially a very tight fit. But a little working, and they have eased up to an excellent smooth and rigid fit. I particularly value the available choice of lengths.
