I screened a lot of exercise DVDs, trying to find something that was easy enough for me to do with my arthritis & other physical problems, but that didn't assume I was chairbound & couldn't do anything but clap my hands & stretch my toes. This DVD used some of the basic ideas behind yoga (breathing, stretching, etc) and several yoga poses & exercises, but presented them with adaptations, such as using blocks or a chair for support, and emphasized adapting the degree of stretch to personal capabilities. The yoga section is just a basic easy flexibility program, but is very well suited for beginners or people with health problems. The rest of the DVD covers understanding arthritis, nutrition tips, a meditation program, and so forth. That information is also good, although not the reason why I bought the DVD.Read full review
I liked becuase it's easy to follow and it is short. I had another mayo clinic excerisee DVD and that one was very hepful and it is not an expensive program.
