While I claim I know a lot about music - I never heard of this recording before and red some critics' review calling this recordng one of the most important records of 1991! One of the tracks used samples from my favorite lp (yes - lp - I am that old!) of all time - Billy Cobham's Spectrum from early 70's - this sounded just too tempting not to buy it. I liked the music on this cd, it is very interesing mix of different styles, I can see why it is recognized as outstanding - especially when you were brought up surrounded by early 90's music. The best part of the cd is the familiar track from the fusion jazz area of 70's. Very interesting and fun. If you like that one - buy the classic Cobham recording. After all nothing beats the original! But altogether it is definately good cd, and the ebay is the right place to get it at a discounted price. Recommended.Read full review
Quintessential Trip-Hop album by Massive Attack, featuring the phenomenal 'unfinished symphony' amongst many other great tracks. This album has elements of many different genres, including hip-hop, rap, soul, trip-hop etc but it also has a unique style that propelled Massive Attack from the British underground scene to a global market. Truly inspirational
This is one of the greatest albums ever made, worth every penny anyone ever asks for it. The best songs on the album would most likely be Blue Lines, Unfinished Sympathy, and The Hymn of the Big Wheel, each song is an absolute work of art.
