The book is laid out chapter by chapter very well; although, in class, our professor opted to skip some chapters...so, perhaps there is a bit of redundancy (I really can't say for sure though why we skipped around). Anyway, the book is a great starting point in learning both the basics and the more complex aspects of what marketing is and how it functions. It is current and relevant inasmuch as it does address online marketing a bit, and provides sufficient URL's for independent research, if you so choose.
