For a few years now I've wanted to play this game on my ds. I got it today, and the game case and the cartridge has a smell that smells like, say, weed. Not sure why, but I will clear the smell off. The game, however, seems to work fine. This was a good deal for about 15$ because I got both the game case and the game itself. UPDATE: (3/14/2018) I lost my game recently but I am buying another one that is more cheaper than this one. Still a great game though and I'd recommend buying it! :)

Mario VS Donkey Kong 2 March of the Minis was the very first DS game that I had when I had my first DS. This game,is the sequel for Mario VS Donkey Kong Miniland Mahem. In this game, it's the grand opening of Super Mini Mario World; a theme park based off of the Mario and Donkey Kong mini wind up toys. Pauline, Mario' V.I.P, is at the ribbon cutting ceremony to cut the ribbon. Also Donkey Kong, is in the audience and he sees Pauline and falls in love with her. After the ribbon is cut, Mario offers Pauline one of his Mini Mario toys and Donkey Kong offers her one of his Mini Donkey Kong toys. Pauline chooses Mario's toy over Donkey Kong's and Donkey Kong becomes furious. Donkey Kong, then grabs Pauline by her arm and runs off with her into to the elevator going up to the rooftop floor. Now it's up to Mario and his Mini Marios to rescue her. In the main game, you have to go through eight floors to get the rooftop floor. Each floor, has nine levels making seventy-two levels in total before the final boss level. In each level, you have to guide every Mini Mario that's in that level to the exit door. You will be ranked at the end of each level depending on how well in did in the level. The ranks are bronze star, silver star, and gold star. You also have to cards to collect. There is one card per level making nine cards per floor. Each card has a letter on it;when you have all the cards collected, they will spell MINIMARIO and you will unlock that floor's mini game. In Construction Zone, you can make your own levels and use to be able to receive levels through Wi-Fi. Any features that use/used Wi-Fi can no longer be used because Nintendo discontinued all Wi-Fi services for all Wii and DS games back in 2014. Finally, in Options, you can edit the game's audio settings, watch cut scenes in the Showroom, register your name, and use to be able to broadcast the game's demo mode through wireless communication. The kids love this game. Very simple game-play. The object is to get the mini marios to the door while avoiding obstacles, with occasional bosses. My 3 year old even figured it out. It has plenty of levels to keep the kids entertained. You can also create and swap your own puzzles via Nintendo's wifi connection.
I played this as a kid and I felt the need to play again so I did. And it was fun
