Have my original Marantz 2275 and cassette deck since 1978 and they still work great. Bought a Sony cd-5 disk which shelled out after 4 years. Now buying a couple of Marantz cd-5 decks and another Marantz receiver from the '70s that has had the lights replaced with LED. Sounds great. Go with Marantz.

I wanted a cheap cd changer for use during parties and found this one for 50 dollars (price + shipping). I was surprised to find that it had a Burr-Brown DAC and digital output if you have a high quality DAC you prefer. The CC3000 is also equipped with a remote operated volume control that is hard to find on a low cost cd player. Sound quality is very good with the Burr-Brown DAC, in fact the sound is better than a lot of 300-400 dollar new players I've heard!! If you need a good low cost cd changer as I did and find one of these, buy it, you won't be sorry.
This cd player was the one I was hoping to find for my stereo system. The price and condition were both good and the player works very well. It seems that things I am looking for often can be located in the Ebay world.
