I bought this because I saw it advertised at a seminar I attended. I had no idea that the author claims to be preacher of the Word of God. In her book, she demonstrates a complete lack of the concept of who Christ is. She mentions that Jesus spent many years studying scripture before he started his ministry. I found it fascinatingly sad that she would claim to be a Christian and not understand the concept of the hypo-static union, that being that Jesus was God and man, so whatever He said was The Word of God. I did not continue reading, as I don't want to fill my mind with junk from anybody who claims to be a Christian but fails to understand basic ideas regarding Christ.
Joyce Meyer knows what she's talking about because she had lived it. This is an excellent book for those who know longer want to be led by the wimps of their emotions. It gives you practical, easy to do advice that when followed will benefit the reader and those around them
