This is a fantastic macro for adapting to Pentax, a poor man's Zeiss 100mm f 2.0 T* as far as image quality goes. It is not as fast as the Zeiss, but image quality is right up there. It is a medium format lens, so on full frame cameras such as the Pentax K-1 you are only using the sweet spot in the center, further enhancing image quality and reducing any border softness. You will need an adapter, but adapters are available for well below $100. Highly recommended.

In my career as a photographer, I have been lucky enough to own some very wonderful glass. Lenses. This lens may be the sharpest of them all, or at least in the top three or four. It also has very pleasing bokeh, the out-of-focus areas are soft and silky, something many modern lenses struggle with.
I have Hassy 120 macro f4 CF. I feel hard to find focus (I have Acute mate), not happy in maximum magnification and minimum focusing distance. After I try mamiya lens 120/f4, It 's better than in everything. I like it.
