Here's the thing, everything Magic did after being a basketball player have been pretty mediocre. Why would you expect anything more out of an 8-bit video game in his honor? No close up dunk shots like Double Dribble, No real players (besides Magic!), average music, crappy graphics aside from that beautiful mugshot of magic. But come on, it's Magic freaking Johnson! The guy's a legend. The game is worth buying just to say you own it. Shameless plug, it's one of the cheapest games I sell in my ebay store in case you were looking for a copy.
The graphics aren’t quite as impressive as some of its contemporaries, although it does topple the flickering black-and-white players of Double Dribble, but the controls aren’t as easy to maneuver. Overall, it’s a solid two-player game with the endorsement of the unforgettable Magic Johnson, a legend in his own right.

You can expect better. This is a game that is just like games for the Intellivision and Atari systems. It is a pethetic attempt at making a basketball game by Tradewest. Horrible game with Magic Johnson's name slapped on it. Advertising can be misleading. Avoid this game entirely.
Nice doing business
