Bought this for use on my motorcycle. Nothing better to know than when curves are coming up and how sharp they might be. The large screen makes for much quicker decision making on the move. With the smaller units, you must first visually zero-in on the unit before you can mentally digest the information. The screen is large enough to prevent wasting that time and return your concentration to driving that much quicker. Magellan is the best I've found for simplicity of use and overall quality. Highly recommended - even on the windshield of a motorcycle. A glare shield helps a lot, though.
I bought this GPS because of the size of the screen. So far I am very satisfied with the performance and it is like having a tablet. The battery does not last very long but it is not a problem as long as it is plugged in the vehicle. I like this much better than my 4.3" screen GPS.
All of magellen 7" GPS Automotive units I have used have been great. Very easy to see without moving your head close to the unit as I had to do with my previous 4 " units.

Easy to use, big so placement may be a problem. But if you got eyesight issues its for you. Keep updated . Make map small so you can anticipate turns. Voice can be slow at times.

Love this gps, have a Pilot 550 but was turning off every once in a while in the middle of a route and was driving me crazy. So I wanted to get another Garmin but bigger and this one is almost perfect, has a big display but the color of the letters should be like in black for ease of reading, and a bit bigger. Picks up routes very quickly even if you miss a turn. I'm very happy with this unit and yes I would recommend everybody to buy it.
