This is the third book I have read in the Sherbrooke series. Ms. Coulter expands your knowledge of the Sherbrooke family tree while introducing several new characters and family members. Anyone who enjoys fun, fast and enjoyable reading will enjoy this book. Ms. Coulter's stories always meet my expectation in providing a vivid picture of life during whatever period of time she is writing in. Her male characters are strong and yet respectful and sensative towards the women they care about. She writes with a humor that makes you laugh out loud at times. Ms. Coulter proves a story does not have to be filled with guts, gore, porn sexual descriptions and foul language to sell. Mad Jack leaves you with a "I can't wait to read the next book".
This story is one in a series about a family called the Sherbrookes in London in the early 1800,,, I have all the stories about 7 I believe.. it is a Great set of stories... I would tell anyone that these should be a must.. if you get one of them,,, you will be hooked an want them all--just like Me. I bought the first book the Sherbooke Twins--because I too am a twin--I got it just for funn--and loved it of course,, and when from there...
Slow going book, and not what you expected for the story line. Boring. The reader was trully boring, I would have got someone with a better voice, with a little something in the voice. Just another book in the series, a money maker for the author, and a let down for the readers.
