I purchased this MSI B75MA-P45 Motherboard to replace an 8 year old MSI Motherboard that died. This was a refurbished item and it worked flawlessly upon installation. I also purchased a used Intel i5-3570k Ivy Bridge CPU, to install on this board. After booting up, I tested the CPU Core Temps. Everything was running Cool and efficient. The only thing I didn't like about this board, is that it is a bit smaller in form factor than my previous motherboard. Although it has all the same amount of SATA port connections, 4 memory Slots, and all the things I need Packed onto this model.

I bought this because I needed a motherboard that could support my 16gb of ddr3 ram and Intel i7 3770. When I first turned it on, it posted but didn't detect my boot drive. I decided to restart it but when I did, it didn't give any signal. I check everything until I took out the motherboard battery and put it back in and noticed that is the only way to get it to turn on. I eventually had to get a new ssd because the motherboard just wouldn't detect my old one and I also need to replace the battery every time I want to turn my computer on.
