Mine's been working fine, use it once sometimes twice daily. It's accurate enough for the things I've used it for. Anything needing high accuracy I'd probably use a digital timer for anyway, it's not what this is made for so I wouldn't expect from it what it couldn't do. Good timer, does it's job, and looks like kitchen timers, it's kind of nostalgic that way.

Had a Lux battery operated timer which I misplaced. Purchased this one as it was the closest I could find. It was only $8.95 and I got what I paid for. It does not ring long nor loud. You have to wind it past 30 minutes and then back to 10 minutes or whatever. It would be fine for someone with really good hearing and sitting right next to it.

Timer works but the bell is so little you can barely hear it. Our old LUX from years ago had a great REAL bell in it and was loud so you could hear if from a room or two away.

absolutely love this timer and how it works so well that all the pasta easily allows the right amount of time....a favorite in my kitchen

Item works great with loud ringer, but it could use a back like the older models. Afraid "if" dropped it could break easily. Until then should work fine.
