This is comedy! Whenever you pair Doris Day with Rock Hudson expect it to be very funny! I really loved Tony Randall....he always played second fiddle in most movies but he was a great actor. My favorite part of the movie was when she decides to give herself to Rock at this hide-a-way and then discovers who he really is. Then the fun starts with Rock passing out the sought after "VIP" candies, which are pure alcohol, except nobody knows that. He and Doris end up married, being stoned out of their minds at the time, and she finds herself in a motel room with Rock the next morning and he is flashing a "just married" paper in front of her to tell her it is alright. A laugh out loud scene follows when the two maids outside hear their loud argument and think Doris is a terrified innocent bride. Just some wonderful dialogue and of course Ms. Day is always dressed to the "T." Very funny and fast moving. One of the Doris and Rock movies that shouldn't be missed.Read full review
I loved the people in it, they are my favorite old time actors, thats why I bought it. There was romance, humor, and drama, I love that.
I saw this movie a long time ago, but haven't been able to find it anywhere in stores. I decided to check online, and sure enough there it was! It's a favorite classic of mine.
