I was not impressed at all with this book, there are surely no Miracles to be found in its pages... I have read a number of good Stock Market books, by noted and respected authors, such as William O'Neil (founder Investors Business Daily), Jim Cramer, Peter Lynch of Fidelity funds, etc. These authors provide a wealth of advice and understanding of the science of Stock Market Investing. However, this Wade Cook fellow is simply not in their league as an author, although he certainly tries to convince the reader of his personal ability to make money in the markets... But he provides little insight and even less good advice in this book. Furthermore, this less than Miraculous book seems to be mainly a large hard-covered Sales Come On Brochure for Mr. Cook's investment Seminars. He often says in his book, "for more detailed information please attend my seminar on..." What a Jerk, this book originally sold for $25, one should get some useful information from it, not just a "teaser" for his seminars!!! And frankly I doubt his seminars are worth the price of admission either. There was a small amount of decent info, in between pages of useless bragging about Mr. Cook's personal successes, but this small amount of information is also available in plenty of other sources. Mr. Cook seems to be something of a huckster and a charlatan, in my view. I am sorry I wasted both time and money on "Stock Market Miracles" by W.Cook. Pass on this one, there are no miracles in it; if you want to learn about stocks, please do yourself a favor and go buy Real Money by Jim Cramer, or anything by Bill O'Neil. Toni Taylor is a good investment author too. These fine folks offer great advice and even some wisdom for the small investor. Good Luck in the Stock Market, buy things on the way up, don't hold too long on the way back down, and remember, cut your market losses early, before they cut your throat...Read full review
