I happen to have a screener DVD of this movie. It amazes me how the illustrators can make the VT characters look so much like themselves AND the Wizard of Oz Characters: Larry plays the Tin Man, Mr. Lunt plays the Scarecrow, and Pa Grape plays the Cowardly Lion. Jr Asparagus plays "Darby", (Dorothy), and his little "dog" is actually a pig by the name of "Tutu". This is the story of "The Prodigal Son", told Veggie style. Very cute, it's one of my favorite recent VeggieTales releases, and in true VT fashion, there are a lot of "adult" jokes, that the kids won't get, but that make it entertaining for Mom and Dad to watch with them, for instance, Madame Bluberry plays "Splenda, the good, but non-fattening fairy".
Wizard of oz with a veggie tales twist is amazing and informative to children!

My kids love this tale and really understood the message conveyed. I love the Wizard of Oz story and this is a great representation of the tale. I love the Silly Song as well.
Cool little movie. My little son likes Veggie Tales. Great birthday gift. Its hard sometimes to gather up a collection series.
This is a must have to any Veggie Tales collection. It's witty and adorable. Definitely recommend it!
