They’ve been making these for, I think, 20+ years. In the classic mould of the field watch it’s small(35mm), light, strong and very wearable. The old 1940s-80s military field watches like Benrus and Hamilton were all 34-36mm so this watch bucks the current trend of large watches but is a firm favourite of mine. It’s crystal is very strong (I attacked one with a screwdriver once, a broken watch, to try and break it and no luck). The titanium takes superficial scratches occasionally but no more than stainless steel. Buy one and wear it with confidence.

I've owned this watch for 18 years, since 2002, and have given it some very rough military treatment, yet it's still totally accurate. It has a very thin profile, so doesn't catch on things, and is extremely comfortable. The watch face is easy to read, not cluttered like too many watches. I'm pleased to see that Lorus (Seiko) are still making this watch, and may buy another to "lay in store" in case my current one eventually wears out.

I’ve just bought this watch but am already writing a review... why? Because for more than sixteen years I’ve been wearing the exact same model and it’s finally given up the ghost. I’ve worn the watch probably most of the time; I bought it in 2002 because I was going overlanding for eight months. The watch has worked perfectly and, apart from countless new straps and batteries, has kept perfect time throughout despite having been in some extreme environments. Highly recommended. If my new watch lasts as long as the first one it’ll probably last longer than me 😁

Ilove the watch. Just the right size and easy to read and really light. Don't like the strap, so I've changed that to a rustic brown leather strap and it's now almost perfect.

I suffer from pain in the wrist and needed a watch that was not too large, had a soft strap and was light in weight. This one fits the bill very well. It is comfortable to wear, has classic good looks and keeps time well. It has a screw back so if you want to save money and change the battery yourself, all you need is is a good quality tool and you can take the back off without risk of causing damage. I have owned a titanium watch before and think that it a very suitable material.
