My Glock 22 Gen 2 was a 40 S&W pistol. I was tired of using and buying 40's as the price was always much higher than 9 mm. I have my 45 cal guns so I don't need to go up, rather down. I have a Glock 26, 43 and 19, and all of them are great, but i sure missed my Glock 17 I sold awhile back. So converting my glock 22 to a 9mm was a given. I already had seven glock 17 9mm magazines hanging around. So I bought Lone Wolf conversion barrel. When it came, I saw the quality immediately and installed it. I also read up on problems some have had with conversion. Lone Wolf on their website told of solutions. So I ordered the solutions, so i would have no problems. The solutions were to specifically buy a new 11 lb. stainless spring and rod assembly. This solved some problems in ejection some experienced. So together the three new parts were installed. I went to the range and fired off 500 rounds of various differing 9mm, from FMJ to JHP. Each mag was mixed with different cartridges to really test the new conversion. You see the Glock 17 9mm magazines fit perfectly too. Not a whimper, or cough or stall. and accuracy? Fabulous. Of course, the longer barrel gave me an edge on accuracy up to even 75 yards at bench rest. I love it. Best of all, I still have a 40 S&W, anytime i want. The special case the Lone Wolf conversion came in houses my old parts perfectly for future use if needed. I have no "cons" to say about Lone Wolf and their products. Go for it.Read full review

Looks like they did it again.... Had to send it back to get finish reamed. Rounds would not fit due to no leade with rifling. I'm sure once I get it back it will be just as good as their others. Can't really complain much due to the price though it would be nice if they would get it right the first time. People buy these barrels to shoot lead. Here is a thought.... ream it for the longest rounds anybody would shoot so we don't have to send them back. Still happy over all with purchase and would do it again if I need another. I have 6 as of now.

I finally got to the range today with my Glock 22 with this new barrel. I decided to go 9mm and only use the .40 cal as back up in SHTF. All our regular carry semi-autos will be 9mm. I am sure this barrel will need a little more breaking in. The gun with previous barrel had probably 750 rounds or so through it. It still functioned fine with this barrel. I was not hitting cloverleafs at 7 or 10 yrds, but I was hitting fist sized groupings. It will hopefully get better. I will definitely think of another LoneWolf barrel if I need in the future.

Stronger and heavier than the standard barrel in order to fit the larger hole in the slide, this barrel not only allows you to fire cheaper 9mm rounds for practice, but puts more weight forward and improves accuracy. I can hardly believe the quality and low price. Outstanding product.

Put it in my Glock 22 and ran 100 rounds of wimpy Aramscor 115gr range ammo with no issues. It was also very accurate. One note, the barrel is HEAVY because it has to be much thicker. I'd buy it again though.
